My drama teacher friends are saying things like this all the time. Get them to embody it! It does take confidence and pedagogical skill to bring teens along with you into an awkward moment though. Any advice for my pre-service teachers who may want to try this on prac, but with a class they don't know well?
Oh juicy! Confidence for sure, and trust from the young people - if I was working with my baby-teachers I’d probably suggest it be done in a safe online platform - maybe Flipgrid or similar - the physical element would likely only be done confidently by dance or drama teacher trainees. But the previous steps before the awkwardness would work well, but then taking the final step online rather than real world would avoid the high risk of failure, for a ‘pedagogical trust fall’ of this kind.
